The Wathen Hall
The Wathen Hall is located within the grounds of St Paul's School. Opened to the public in 2000, the hall has been received enthusiastically by performers and recording companies alike. The Wathen Hall enjoys a wonderful natural acoustic and benefits from its relatively secluded position on the banks of the River Thames. The Wathen Hall has a capacity of 316 (on raked seating), and additional seating can be provided in two balconies overlooking the main stage. Sight lines from all parts of the hall are good.
The Foyer, with large glass doors opening out on to a lawn that overlooks the River Thames, provides an attractive entrance point for the Wathen Hall, and can also be used as a self-contained performance space. The Foyer also contains our fully licensed Foyer Bar, which is open 45 minutes before each concert. Serving a range of light refreshments and drinks, the Foyer is the perfect space in which to enjoy something to eat or drink whilst admiring the scenic surroundings of the Wathen Hall.
The Wathen Hall runs a staffed cloakroom (free-of-charge), and we aim to make all of our concerts and events accessible to everybody. Special arrangements can be made to accommodate audients who require special seating arrangements, or assistance with entering or leaving the building. The Wathen Hall has disabled access, a lift, and adapted toilet facilities. Those of you visiting by car can enjoy free parking on site.
