Craig Ogden
Thursday 17th May 2012 at 7:30 pm
As the evenings grow longer, Australian guitarist, Craig Ogden, offers a deliciously sunny array of music for the classical guitar. Recently hailed "a worthy successor to Julian Bream" (BBC Music Magazine), Ogden's success and wide critical acclaim continue to blossom.
Following a hugely popular debut solo album for Classic FM ('The Guitarist'), and with nominations within the Classical Brit Awards' "Album of the Year" category, Ogden's recital promises to offer something for everyone.
With popular favourites by Albéniz, substantial works of highly subtle intricacy by Dewar and Scarlatti, and a stunning arrangement of Arlen's timeless classic, 'Over the Rainbow', this is the quintessential recital for a summer's evening.
